This is Eric, and by an amazing turn of events I have been allowed to type whatever I want on this blog to honor my wonderful wife and mother of my child(ren). Our day started off well, as you can see in the pictures above, Ethan was saying that his mother is the number one mother in the world. Our day was supposed to be followed by a meal at the Airport International Inn and then a nice meal with Ethan and myself at Applebees where she didn't have to share her food with Ethan (he has a big appetite and it is not all that discerning, he eats everything). Anyway, instead, Ethan cut open his finger at church and we got to rush to the Emergency Room and get four stitches put into the little guy's right ring finger. So lunch consisted of a Snickers bar that we got from a vending machine and then McDonalds. After Ethan's nap he was a little moody so we didn't want to try a restaurant so Jessica made a wonderful meal of tacos. So Jessica's second mothers day was a bit different than planned, but she did a wonderful job of taking care of her little boy through it all. She's such a wonderful Mommy and it was great to see her in action even if it did mean a lot of crying from Ethan and finding out just what stitching up a finger looks like-to be honest, it was pretty cool. Anyway, this has been getting long, but here's to all the mother's out there, but especially Ethan's mommy.
