Ethan turned 10 months old while we were in Alaska so I didn't get around to posting anything about his amazing month. Not to mention it was the day of Jennifer's funeral. Ethan was able to take his first few steps during his ninth month as well as go completely onto table food, three more teeth broke through (the top ones with the second front almost in), and he can now play 'ball' by rolling/tossing it back and forth with you. He also can give a high five, wave 'hello', stay in the nursery during church, play with toys like his barnyard with lots of coordination and purpose, like putting the animal down the silo shoot over and over after they fall out the bottom, say dad/da-dy and dog, sometimes to the actual dad/dog, copy most things you do, get all over the house cruising, crawl up stairs, dance, help put on his clothes by lifting his limb for each part of the process, take off his shoes and socks, climb on things like furniture, and so much more! He really grew cognitively this month and seemed to make a lot of progress on walking which he wants to do so bad to keep up with all his friends. Ethan loves little kids and cried the other day when his friend Lily left. He was standing at the door looking out as she got in her car. *maybe he just wanted to go outside too, but it seemed like he wanted her to come back, lol. Well it has been a crazy 9th month and is turning out to be a pretty busy 10th also.
